The light discomfort associated with micro-needling is similar to microdermabrasion. Some areas are more sensitive than others. The speed of the reciprocating needle tip makes the treatment comfortable. Sometimes, depending on the depth of the needling and the condition being treated, topical numbing agents may be used.
